USING TWO BUCKETS TO WASH YOUR CAR

STEP 1
PRE RINSE
Begin by rinsing your car using a pressure washer or a garden hose with a spray gun on the “jet” setting. Work from the top down to remove loose dirt, dust, mud, pollen, bird droppings, and other contaminants.
This step is crucial to minimise the risk of scratches and swirl marks, as it clears gritty particles before any contact wash. Pay extra attention to lower panels, wheel arches, and bumpers, which tend to collect the most road grime.
STEP 2
WHEELS & TYRES
Spray Envoke Reactive Wheel and Tyre Cleaner across the wheel face, spokes, and inner barrel, and apply a tyre cleaner or all-purpose cleaner to the sidewalls. Allow to dwell for 30–60 seconds, don’t let it dry.
Use a soft wheel brush for the face and spokes, a barrel brush for the inner barrel, and a smaller brush for tight areas like lug nuts. Scrub tyres with a stiff bristle tyre brush to remove dirt, browning, and old dressing. Rinse thoroughly from top to bottom.
Tip: Always clean wheels and tyres before the main wash to avoid transferring brake dust or grit onto your paint. Keep wheel brushes separate from paint brushes.
STEP 3
Step 3 – Snow Foam Pre-Wash
Apply Envoke Snow Foam using a foam cannon or gun, covering the entire vehicle. The thick foam encapsulates remaining dirt, road grime, and contaminants from the pre-rinse.
Let it dwell for a few minutes, but never allow it to dry. Then rinse thoroughly from BOTTOM to TOP. This step adds an extra layer of protection before touching the paint, reducing the chance of scratches.
step 4
Prepare two buckets: one with water + Envoke Car Shampoo, and a rinse bucket with clean water (with grit guards if possible).
Using a wash mitt, start from the top and work downwards. Wash small sections at a time, rinsing the mitt in the rinse bucket before reloading it with soapy water. Leave heavily soiled lower panels until last.
Rinse the entire vehicle thoroughly to remove all shampoo residue. The two-bucket method keeps dirt out of contact with the paint, preventing swirl marks and scratches.
Note: For a heavier decontamination wash, you can use Envoke Reboot Shampoo. It’s safe on coatings, PPF, and wraps, and is recommended as a once-a-month maintenance wash to keep your protective layers in top condition.

step 5
Use a Bigboi Blower or other automotive blower to remove water without touching the paint. Work from the top down, pushing water from panels, mirrors, grilles, badges, and panel gaps.
This touchless drying reduces the risk of swirl marks, scratches, and water spots. Ensure hidden areas are completely dry to prevent water from dripping later.
step 6
If no blower is available, use a high-quality drying towel with Envoke Ceramic Quick Detailer or quick detail spray. Lightly mist the towel (not the paint) and glide it across panels from top to bottom in straight lines.
This method speeds up drying, prevents water spots, and adds a streak-free, glossy finish. Only a small amount of product is needed for flawless results.
Note: Only a small amount of product is needed—2 sprays at a time of your detail spray will cover roughly ¼ of the car. Less is best for an even, streak-free finish.
Step 7
Gloss Finishing
Even if the vehicle has been dried using a blower, it is important to complete the process with a finishing step to enhance gloss and remove any remaining water on the surface. With your chosen detail spray. Lightly mist a plush microfibre towel (not the paint) and work panel by panel. Buff with a dry towel or the reverse side of the same towel. Only a small amount of product is needed, 2 sprays per panel is all you need.
This step removes any residual water, enhances gloss, and leaves a streak-free finish. Two towels are recommended, one for application and one for final buffing.
Avoid spraying the product directly onto the paintwork, as this can lead to uneven application, streaking, or blotching.
Glass Finishing
Use Envoke Ceramic Glass Cleaner for crystal-clear, streak-free results. Spray the product onto a dedicated glass microfibre towel, not directly onto the glass. Work one pane at a time, wiping evenly, then follow with a second clean towel to remove any excess product.
Tip: Apply the same treatment to exterior mirrors for improved visibility in wet conditions. The ceramic formula adds a hydrophobic layer, causing water to bead and run off, and it is safe for tinted windows.
Tyres & Rims Finishing
Once the tyres are completely dry, apply your Envoke Ceramic Tyre Dressing to restore a rich, clean appearance. A ceramic tyre dressing is recommended for its longer-lasting finish and resistance to sling, unlike some silicone-based dressings that can transfer onto your paintwork.
Spray the product directly onto a foam or tyre applicator rather than onto the tyre itself to prevent overspray onto your freshly cleaned paint or rims. Using the applicator, spread the dressing evenly across the entire tyre and sidewalls, ensuring consistent coverage. For a deeper, glossier look, a second coat can be applied once the first has cured.
Your rims also deserve a finishing touch.
Apply a quality detail spray using the same method and directions you followed for the paintwork, spraying onto a microfibre towel rather than directly onto the surface to avoid streaking or overspray. This will add a protective barrier to your rims, making them easier to clean in the future, especially if a ceramic detail spray is used, as it will leave behind a hydrophobic layer that repels water and contaminants while delivering an exceptional gloss.
